During our March meeting we have the wonderful opportunity to be ‘shoe makers’ for children in Uganda.
Sole Hope is an organization that provides closed toed shoes for children one pair at a time. Although these shoes are easy and fun to make, they are a practical and effective solution to preventing serious foot disease.
You can help by saving: plastic items – thin folders, milk jugs, laundry detergent bottles; denim jeans – old, wrong size, good will. After the meeting we will cut and prepare the goods for shipping.
Bring the items and a pair of scissors, to our Spring Program on Tuesday March 22 at 6:30pm at the Christ United Methodists Church Scott Campus, 4091 Illinois 161, Belleville, Il. 62221.
