“Set An Intention”
March 28th 6:30pm at Christ Church Scott Campus

In your yoga practice, you “set an intention” to keep your mind and body in the moment and not thinking of your to do list. It may be a word, a quote, or a prayer. Your practice becomes more meaningful than just an hour of exercise, it becomes a lifestyle.

Women 4given is “setting an intention”, a new focus. What is this new focus?   We’ll tell you right after yoga!

What is an intention? What is Yoga? And how do I set my own intention?  Julie Wisemen will explain how our minds and bodies benefit from a yoga practice. Julie is an experienced Yoga instructor at Unity Yoga and Memorial Health and Sports Center. She will lead us through a half hour session of Chair Yoga. It is a gentle form of yoga using a chair instead of a mat. This is a good excuse to dress in your comfy clothes and bring a friend!

“A Healthy Intention”
Please consider bringing healthy items for the local food pantries. Suggested food items: apples, oranges, potatoes. Hygiene items: toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo and conditioner.
