Let’s get together to celebrate the Christmas season!
Festivities include a delicious banquet for a flat $16 (paid by Tues., Dec. 1), Christmas carols, and a toast to the next five years of giving together!
Our menu for the evening includes: a garden salad with your choice of dressing, baked chicken breast with dressing in a creamy mushroom wine sauce, steamed vegetables, warm rolls with honey butter, and for dessert a slice of coconut cream pie with whipped cream topping. Yum!
If you like, bring some housewarming items for the families served by the Violence Prevention Center. At the VPC, the Charles T. and Joan Meyer Women’s Shelter provides a warm, home-like environment for victims of domestic violence and their children free of charge. Let’s gather these gifts to warm their homes: pots & pans, silverware, dishes, Tupperware, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, gas cards, gift cards, slippers, socks, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and hair products for all hair textures.
As always, feel free to invite a friend!
Interested in carpooling? Meet at Christ Church parking lot at 6 p.m. We will leave no later than 6:05 p.m.
