‘Tis the Season for Volunteering!

The month of December presents three opportunities to serve others:

March 2014 event spreadThurs., Dec. 4: Baking One Dozen Cookies
Heartlinks Grief Center of Belleville has invited W4G to donate twelve dozen un-iced, plain sugar cookies for their young clients to decorate. If you plan to contribute a dozen, please let me know and deliver cookies to Marsha Heffner’s home on or before Dec. 4.

 

 

gift wrapping groupWed., Dec. 10: Wrapping Christmas Gifts for Children
Project Compassion, NFP, of Belleville has invited us to wrap gifts for the children they serve. The toys and wrapping supplies will be provided—just bring yourself! Project Compassion is located at 6609 W. Main St.; join us 9-11 a.m.

 

em and carolineMon., Dec. 15: Sorting Christmas Gifts for Nursing Home Residents
Project Christmas Cheer has invited us to sort and organize the gifts collected for nursing home residents at Christ Church (339 Frank Scott Pkwy East in Fairview Heights) at 9:30 a.m.
